THE NUCLEAR FAMILY

What a punkin whatta guy -- girl

A CONCRETE RELATIONSHIP

My mother and father
had a concrete relationship
they are buried in it.
My father said "work hard
and mind your own business."
He shot things and then ate them,
He was very good at shooting.
He refused to walk in the Angles at noonday
He was his own man but my mother
sewed the tears in his shadow
He refused to acknowledge her craft,
they were limited horizontally.
Once I heard them fucking,
asked what they were doing
"Nothing" my mother replied
in a voice that sounded blind.
I believed her.
