A mild mannered device driver programmer by day, CodeWarrior Carling produces machinima at night and on weekends under the brand “Ideajuice Studios”.
His background as a graphics driver programmer brings him to machinima from the technical side and he is having a lot of fun working his way to the artistic side.
The 48 hour film project got him interested, and he’s been exploring the emerging art for nearly three years. Second Life is his primary venue for creating machinima, but he has also explored using iClone, Moviestorm, DX Studio and the Torque Game Engine.

Josue Habana is a talented writer, entrepeneur and Media Manager/SEO Master from the United Kingdom. Josue produces content for a popular Second Life Parody website called “Pixel Scoop“. Josue is an active enthusiast of the Spoken Word online and offline, and shares his poignant slam poetry at “The Lyrical Cafe” an indie venue and growing literary community in Second Life™.
Skylar Smythe is a writer by virtue and contributes to a growing collection of “chick lit” poetry with over 250 original pieces of poetry on her website: www.guerillapoetess.com The Toronto Canada native also wrote and co-produced/directed a five act play in 2009 titled “Hypatia of Alexandria” with friend and creative partner, Josue Habana. Skylar joined the virtual world of Second Life in 2007 and became a recognized performer in the spoken world community there. Kayden Oconnell comes to Second Life™ with over thirty years of experience in real world theater. He is also a published playwright and a member of the Dramatists Guild of America. He has worked in commercial radio and done voice-over work for a number of clients. Crap Mariner plays a “dummy” in the upcoming production of “Oxymoronic Fusion” an original play staged in the Virtual World of Second Life™. Crap is a prolific entertainer in Second Life and has one of the more scripted articulated avatars on the grid, which is of course amazingly detailed and an artform to look at.
She also takes about three hours to “load”. And that’s with a superior graphics card.

In her own recyclable words: ” R. Crap Mariner is an independent clockwork humanoid designed to overthrow and crush the human race in the future war between robots and humans. In the meantime, it waits patiently in its Clocktree Park, a subtle perversion of nature and technology. Biding its time, writing and recording a 100 word story every day.

Marin Mielziner has been active in theatre for many years and holds degrees in Theatre and in English and Drama Education as well as serving on the board of her community's theatre.
In Second Life™ Marin is co-founder of Act Up Theatre Company for whom she directed The Thinkerer, When Monster Creation Goes Bad, A Midsummer Night's Dream, and produced Unexpected Detours and Halloween Spooktacular.
Marin and Upo Choche co-wrote The Truth is Out There which was produced as part of Unexpected Detours, and was published in ANON Literary Magazine. Marin appeared in In The Pink for SLVday and I Gave at the Office for Sanity Patrol Players.
In 1st life Marin has appeared in My Fair Lady, Fiddler on the Roof, Annie Get Your Gun, The Sound of Music, Blithe Spirit, You Can't Take it With You and The Real Inspector Hound. Shows she has directed include: Sabrina Fair, Driving Miss Daisy, One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, and Twelve Angry Men.
When not engaged in theatre or logging into Second Life™ Marin manages an office for a biotechnology company, is on the board for her community's annual Earth Day festival, and is learning to watch basketball with her NBA-obsessed boyfriend.
Eve Petlyakov is one creative that you certainly want to keep an eye on.
The lovely and talented American made her Second Life™ acting debut last summer in Josue Habana and Skylar Smythe’s production of “Hypatia of Alexandria” playing the dramatic role of Lydia. Her incredible death scene roused patrons from their seats and won her and the cast accolades for the moving performance.
An accomplished photographer and builder, she spends her time mastering and competing in building blitzes at NCI, creating in her home studio.
As if that were not enough to keep her busy, Eve Petlyakov is a recognized face in the Second Life™ fashion industry where she proudly manages the grid’s largest male fashion conglomerate KMADD Enterprise; which encapsulates MAD Studio, MADesign, and MAD Agency, one of the grid’s most foremost fashion houses.

Persephone Phoenix’s First Life avatar has a BFA in theatre performance and has performed thirty eight roles on stage there. The talented artist is not only engaged in several theatrical groups and communities in Second Life, but she is also an avid supporter of the visual and literary arts in the virtual world.
Ms. Phoenix was an active participant in the SLCC (Second Life Community Convention) in San Francisco, 2009 where she attended mix media events and shared her poetry live with attendees.
Persephone Phoenix has performed in many SL theatre productions, including The Bacchae, Tempest, and In the Pink. She is a member of Avatar Repertory Theatre and performs her own poetry each Sunday night at the Blue Angel Poets’ Dive, the original and oldest running literary community in Second Life™.
